History

In 2010, Stiller was contacted by Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana. They asked if there was interest in bidding on the MK13 Mod 7 project to supply custom actions for the Mod 7 version of the MK13 300 WinMag sniper platform. This was the first time the Navy considered using a custom action for this platform. Stiller decided to compete and ultimately won the very difficult competition.

After supplying five TAC 300 actions pulled at random from inventory, the Navy determined that the Stiller Actions offered 100% parts interchangeability. For the first time in the history of the MK13, any part from any Stiller-based rifle could be interchanged with the same part on a different rifle with no change in function or accuracy.

Stiller MK13 actions are black oxide coated and subject to a specially developed, rigorous QC process that holds our already industry-leading tolerances to within a half thousandth of an inch. All MK 13 actions come with a 20 MOA picatinny rail included in the purchase.
